The Scottish National Gallery is the national art gallery of Scotland. It is located on The Mound in central Edinburgh, close to Princes Street. It’s incredibly easy to find, admission is free and there’s a restaurant, café, and gift shop on site. I love the older historical works which can be seen here and there are many on display including Renaissance, Rococo, Baroque, Dutch, Flemish, and Impressionist Art. Great bold red and blue colored walls that make the artwork just POP.
This list highlights ten paintings from their collection of American and European paintings.
